Noodle Wednesday and Sunday Supper

NOODLE WEDNESDAY

Join us every Wednesday for a rotating noodle dish with a complimentary spring roll.

Our Weekly Rotation Includes:

Phat Si Ew

Marinated Flank Steak, Wide Rice Noodles, Fried Egg, Gai Lon, Onion, Garlic, Ginger, Black Pepper, and Dark Sweet Soy Sauce.

A note from Chef Ray:

"Phat Si Ew is one of my favorite Thai noodle dishes. This is a dish that I have made repeatedly, and it never fails to make me happy. My rendition of this dish has marinated seared flank steak, fresh gai lon, and confit garlic, enrobed with Thai dark soy sauce that brings a savory caramelized sweet flavor that envelopes wide rice noodles. All garnished with scallions and a runny fried egg. This dish speaks to all my favorite parts of comfort food."

Singapore Mei Fun

Vermicelli Rice Noodles, Egg, Yellow Curry Powder, Bok Choy, Onion, Carrots, Bean Sprouts, and Scallions.

A note from Chef Ray:

"Singapore Mei Fun is a dish that is a bit more Chinese-American than Singaporean. It's a classic recipe that I grew up eating from my dad. It would be thin vermicelli rice noodles that were stir-fried with any shredded vegetables that we'd have on hand. We would usually add shrimp and a healthy serving of yellow curry powder. If you've been dining with us over the years this will be a dish that you will recognize."

Lo Mein

Egg Noodles, Broccoli, Onion, Carrots, Celery, Garlic, Ginger, Oyster Sauce, Scallions, and Bean Sprouts.

A note from Chef Ray:

"Lo Mein is a classic dish found in many Chinese restaurants in various forms and flavored with many different proteins. How I like to make my Lo Mein is with plenty of vegetables and a rich sauce made of oyster sauce and dark soy sauce, all cooked into Chinese egg noodles."

SUNDAY SUPPER

Join us every Sunday for Supper! We are currently serving:

Five Spice Smoked Chicken

Smoked chicken served with marinated cucumber salad,
Hui duck sauce, ginger scallion sauce, and white rice.

A note from Chef Ray:

"Five Spice Smoked Chicken is brined and then smoked with a brown sugar five-spice rub. The chicken is cut for easy eating and garnished with a ginger scallion sauce, my dad's duck sauce, and a Chinese cucumber salad. This is exactly the type of meal that I love to eat with rice."
